From June 6 to July 26, I will be in Thailand with three college girls building relationships with students at the university in Chiang Mai. We will also be interacting with the local villages and elementary schools spreading God’s Truth. Please pray for our safety and for the lives of the lost people we will get to know.

Happy Fourth of July!
We had such an eventful Fourth of July here in Thailand! We started off eating lunch with our friend, Jen. She and her husband have been missionary's here for over 10 years. They cooked us a wonderful (American portioned) meal with Oreo pie for dessert! We discussed things that have been on our heart and goals we have for the second half of the summer. It is really nice to have her while our supervisor is working in Bangkok.
After lunch, we made a quick stop at the Chiang Mai Hospital (that also serves as a clinic.) Kati hasn't been feeling well for a few days and we decided it would be best to check it out. It was also good to see where the hospital is and what it was like inside. We found out she has an infection in her intestines and the doctor gave her medication for it all. Keep Kati in your prayers!
Then Alicia and I went to a Fourth of July party hosted by the US consulate. We had so much fun but it was no where near as good as the annual celebration at my house in Grapevine. They were serving hot dogs, hamburgers, apple pie, and all the favorites that we have been missing. There was also a lot of games we played, live band, raffles, and a firework show. I have never seen fireworks so close to the crowd! It was almost like they were shooting them off from the stadium we were in!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Fourth of July! I miss you all terribly!
