From June 6 to July 26, I will be in Thailand with three college girls building relationships with students at the university in Chiang Mai. We will also be interacting with the local villages and elementary schools spreading God’s Truth. Please pray for our safety and for the lives of the lost people we will get to know.

Wishing time would slow down!
Things are going great! Just finished up our cooking class - a special thanks to Megan and Ray Clark because we made tacos in a bag! The students loved it and we were able to share a little bit about ourselves and why we are here. We've had a great week spending one-on-one time with the friends we've made at the universities.I went to Chiang Mai Rajabhat University to eat lunch with four girls I had met last week. They were so excited to hang out again, they brought four friends! Monday we spent the afternoon with Pii Dream and Pii Mint at Opkhan National Park. It was too rainy to swim in the river but we loved going into the wilderness of Thailand. It was far from what we were used to seeing. Read Shauna's blog what happened on the way back! Tomorrow we leave for Dream's village. It is three hours outside of Chiang Mai. We are all super excited!!! We will get to go over the mountains and really see what it's like outside of the city. We're staying there for three days and Dream is telling me that I will have to sleep with the pigs. I hope that's not true...

Ahh, the old tacos in a bag...a classic! So glad to know it was yummy so many miles away and is now an intercontinental delight. Ray wanted to know where you got the doritos :)
ReplyDeleteSo excited for you and the work you are doing for the Kingdom. Humbled and inspired by you and your friends :)
Well - unfortunately Doritos are really expensive here so we had to use regular corn chips. But I reminded everyone that Nacho Cheese Doritos work the best!
